While some companies claim that they can completely service all makes and models, we know there are times when allowing one of our competitors to do the job is the right thing to do because it won't cost as much for the consumer. This usually only comes into play when section replacements are required. Most doors utilize the same hardware or are interchangeable, but with the ever increasing variety of door systems, It is actually impossible to service all makes and models in a timely fashion.

Broken springs? Don't be taken for a ride, a spring replacement should not cost you an arm and a leg. If they want to charge you more than $200 plus tax, they might be sticking it to you.
Broken Cables, can usually be replaced without extra hardware, and for under $100.
Rollers, a set of rollers should not cost you a fortune either. If the repair man can't give you information on life expectancy and benifits of their rollers, be suspicious. We can sell you rollers from $2 - 5 each (10/door).
Center bearing plates just don't wear out, though the bearing might.
The technician should check all parts of the door and not necessarily be in and out in 30 minutes. Afterall, your paying for that first hour anyway. Ask for an assessment of the door upon completion.
